After talking about how nice the wedding was, getting the idle chitchat over with, she took his hand and led him to her car. She planned to show him around, however Matt couldn’t imagine there would be much to see around here. As he tried to climb into her car, his knees hit the dash.

“Shit, this car is small,” he grumbled, trying to push the seat back.

“Hey, no dissing the car!” She chuckled as she watched him struggle.

“Why don’t we just take my rental?” He asked while still trying to get himself positioned.

  “Nope, I like to drive.”

“You’re not one of those control freaks are you?” Matt asked jokingly but he didn’t know anything about her, so she might be.

“No,” she offered, and the smile faded. “It’s more of a safety thing. No offense, but I don’t know you very well, so I try not to climb into cars with strange men.”

He completely understood. He had his own security company, so he knew first-hand how crazy some people could be. However, he teasingly said, “So you think I’m strange?” and gave her his most sincere look.

She wasn’t coy at all when she replied, “I don’t know, maybe. Time will tell.” Matt laughed at her honesty, and found it refreshing. She smiled, and then asked, “How long are you staying in town?”

“My plane leaves at 2 pm tomorrow. I have to be back to work Monday morning.”

She nodded and then asked, “You flying out of the Tri-Cities or do you have your own jet as well?”

Laughing, he replied, “I wish I did. Yeah, I’m flying out of the Tri-Cities. You would think there would be a closer airport than that.”

“I know. There are small airports, like Highlands, but it is just for private owners. Tri-Cities isn’t that far away. It only takes about an hour to get there.”

He just raised his eyebrows at that. An hour’s drive was a long way.

She showed him the town and he tried to keep his chuckle from turning into a full belly laugh. It took longer to drive from Carlana’s to town, than it did to actually tour it. “You’ve got to be shittin’ me. Where the hell do you shop?”

She grinned, “Not here. I only do my grocery shopping. You’ll have to drive to one of the bigger towns for anything else. I’ll show you the park. It’s nice.”

Parking at the nearby park, he grabbed her hand as they walked around the lake. It was beautiful. He knew he shouldn’t be holding her hand, but he needed to touch her. He didn’t understand his intense desire for her, but he knew it was a bad idea. He would be leaving tomorrow, and she was Carlana’s best friend. Two great reasons to leave her alone, but he couldn’t. So hand and hand they walked, and talked about everything and nothing.

Evening turned into night, and they stopped at a little hamburger joint called ‘Ma and Pa’s’ for some food. Who would have ever thought to name a place Ma and Pa’s? He just shook his head and kept his mouth shut.

With their bellies full, and nothing else to do, Megan asked, “Would you like to head to my place? I have some wine, and it’s a nice night to sit outside.”

She looked at him expectantly and his cock twitched again. Dammit! He was only here for one night, and although he really liked Megan, loved being around her, he was not the type to have one-night stands. Oh, he’d had some before, but this was Carlana’s best friend, and he was sure he’d run into her again someday. He didn’t want things to be awkward between them when that happened. But the thoughts of tonight ending had him agreeing before he knew what was coming out of his mouth.

“Sure, a glass of wine on the porch sounds great.” I am so screwed!

  “Great!”

  Chapter 4

  ****

Oh, my God! She’d just invited him to her house, and he agreed. She didn’t know how he could make her feel this way, but her heart was pounding as her hands grew sweaty. She prayed he couldn’t tell. Megan tried to slow her heart rate, and maintain her composure by taking slow deep breaths. She really liked Matt and loved being around him. He was funny. He didn’t have to say anything, sometimes it was just the expression on his face. She could tell he was skeptical about eating at a place called ‘Ma and Pa’s,’ but he never said anything. Too bad, he lived in New York and she lived here.

She pulled into her driveway, and after she grabbed her purse, Megan headed toward the door. Her steps almost faltered at the sight of yet another gift on her doorstep. She slowed her steps, as she looked around the house, scanning the shadows again, at least what she could see of them. It was dark, and her porch light only reached so far into the far corners, and around the house.

“What’s wrong?” Matt asked as he came to her side with a concerned expression on his face.

She tried to smile a little when she said, “Nothing. Everything’s fine.” She could tell he didn’t believe her as he started scanning the area. She didn’t want to admit that the gifts she received at night made her leery. During the daytime hours it was fine, and if she was honest with herself, she liked getting the flowers. James was still calling her, and truthfully, she felt like he was the one sending the flowers. If he wants to waste his money, that was up to him. She’d take the flowers and he could still go to hell.

As they walked up onto the porch, Matt’s eyes narrowed as he picked up the vase of flowers and handed them to her. “I believe these are yours.” He didn’t sound too happy, but he didn’t say anything else. Megan unlocked the door and went straight to the kitchen. “Aren’t you going to look at them?” Matt asked, curiosity and something else shining in his eyes.

“No.” She placed the flowers on the table next to the ones she received five days ago. They were almost dead; she just hadn’t thrown them out yet. Matt spotted the flowers, the old and new ones, along with the chocolates on the table.

“Do you have a boyfriend?” he asked as he eyed her suspiciously.

Megan chuckled, thinking that she wished she did. She wanted someone to love, and for him to love her back. She’d seen true love before, Carlana had found it twice. She let out a disappointed breath and sighed, “No, I don’t have a boyfriend.”

“Then who is sending you flowers and candy?” He sounded puzzled and she laughed outright. She hadn’t thought about it until recently, until she started getting spooked. It felt different to receive anonymous gifts during daylight hours.

She turned to him, and then told him the story, at least the short version. “I don’t know. About two months ago, I found flowers on my doorstep with no note or card. It happens about once a week. Last night when I got home, I found a gift waiting for me.” She gestured to the chocolate. “Now I have flowers again. Two nights in a row is unusual.” She frowned when he turned and left. Megan saw his expression change from puzzled to concerned, and then something else.

She heard the front door open and then close. For a second, she thought he’d left, but then remembered that he’d rode with her and didn’t have a car. Walking back to the living room, she spotted movement in the front yard. She opened the front door about the same time Matt grabbed the doorknob. “What are you doing?” confusion sounding clear in her voice.

He pulled her to him, and whispered, “I’m sorry if I scared you. Have you called the police and told them what’s been happening?” When she didn’t answer immediately, he leaned back and looked at her.

“What are you talking about? No, I haven’t called the police. Why would I?” she asked, not knowing what was going on in that head of his.

“Megan,” he said slowly, “You have a stalker.” She laughed. This was not New York, and she wasn’t some rich and famous person. There was no way she had a stalker.

“I do not! I may have an admirer, but not a stalker. Come on, let’s get a glass of wine and I’ll tell you who I think it might be.”

A few minutes later, they each had a glass of white wine and were sitting together on the front porch as they watched traffic pass by. “Okay, I’m listening,” he said, before he took a sip.

  Taking a
sip and gathering her thoughts, she started, “I was married to a man, James, for five years. I should have known better than to marry him, but I did anyway.” She glanced at him and saw he was listening, taking it all in and waiting before he said anything. “I knew he was unfaithful, I could feel it. Then one day, I caught him with another woman who happened to be our neighbor. Long story short, he’s now engaged to her, but he’s still calling me, wanting me back. I like the flowers, and every girl loves to receive flowers, so I kept them. That’s it.”

He stared at her for a little bit and she could tell he was gauging the truthfulness of her words. “Are you sure that’s all it is?”

“Yes, it’s harmless. And if he wants to spend his hard-earned money on flowers, then that’s okay. The flowers make my kitchen look better.” He laughed aloud. She noticed that her glass was empty so she retrieved the bottle from the kitchen. After she sat back down and filled her glass, along with his, she asked, “What about you? Any ex-wife’s in your past?”

He shook his head as he swallowed a drink before he replied, “No. I’ve never been married.”

  “How about a girlfriend?”

Looking her in the eyes, he said, “I assure you, if I had a girlfriend, I would not be here with you right now.” She felt the fluttering of butterflies in her stomach.

Suddenly, she became aware of how close they were sitting. Matt must have noticed the change in her, because he turned his whole body toward her as he gazed into her eyes. His eyes said so much while his mouth remained silent. Then with slow deliberate movements, he took her wine glass, and placed their glasses on the porch. Megan wasn’t naive or stupid she knew what was going on…what was happening.

Matt’s eyes held hers, and she could see the flakes of amber in his chocolate colored eyes that held only desire. Her heart pounded with want. Had she ever wanted someone as much as she wanted him? She didn’t think so. When he cupped her face, she could feel the current running from him into her. Her breathing became labored, her hands sweaty. She’d never been so wet, and he hadn’t even kissed her yet.

She closed her eyes as his mouth gently touched her. She felt the warmth spread through her and settle at her core, making her dripping wet. He nibbled and licked her lips and when they parted for him, he thrusted inside her mouth, his tongue seeking hers, swirling together in a mating dance as old as time itself. One of his hands started roaming her body as the other moved to her neck grabbing her hair. He gave it a gentle tug and her head tilted back while his mouth rained kisses down the side of her neck heading toward her luscious breasts.

He was so sure in his movements, so commanding with his actions, she thought she might cum right there. As he kissed his way down her neck, she found herself leaning backwards, on the outdoor loveseat, with Matt coming down on top of her. She could feel how hard he was even through his jeans. One hand was still holding her hair, directing her head the way he wanted it to go while the other caressed her trembling body. Megan moaned as she arched into him, wanting everything he would give her.

His roaming hand found the hem of her dress and pushed it up to her waist, his hand finding bare skin. He caressed with skill, heading up her hip, to her inner thigh. His finger grazed her core through her panties and she moaned unable to stop herself. As great as this felt, and barely able to think, she did manage to come to her senses. “Not here,” she whispered breathlessly. “The neighbors will see.”

Matt looked at her with lust-filled eyes, and without speaking, he scooped her up as if she weighed nothing and carried her inside. He slammed the front door with his foot before heading down the hall looking for a bedroom. She didn’t direct him as he continued kissing her and searched, any bedroom would do.

When her back felt the bed underneath her, Megan’s desire surged hotter than the flames of hell. Matt came down on top of her, while kissing down her neck, and caressing her thigh, bringing the hem of her sun dress up with his hand. Her legs parted to make room for him as he lay in the cradle of her legs. She could feel his huge cock through his pants as it pressed into her stomach.

As he slid her dress over her head, he continued the onslaught of her body, nipping and kissing his way down. Tangling her fingers in his hair, she pulled his mouth down to one of her breast, begging with her body for him to take it, lick it, and devour it with his mouth and tongue.

He didn’t disappoint. As he sucked, she couldn’t control the moan that slipped out. When his mouth left her breast with a pop, he shifted to the other and his hands caressed them both. After devouring her luscious breasts, his hands slowly moved down her hips as his mouth slowly followed trailing kisses down her stomach, heading to her core. Oh God, it feels so good!

His hands spread her thighs wide; his tongue speared her womanhood, thrusting it hard and deep. A moan slipped from her throat as her orgasm neared. Almost there! She thought. When one finger found her sensitive nub, she knew it wouldn’t be long now. Then his tongue and finger switched places. As he thrust his finger deep into her womanhood, her orgasm swept her away on a tidal wave. It rolled through her, crashing with every buck of her hips. Megan barely remembered yelling his name as her orgasm went on and on, it felt never-ending.

Matt knew this was a bad idea, but he couldn’t think anymore. Megan was beautiful, amazing, and sexy as hell. He finally made his way to her core where he speared her with his tongue. She was so wet, her juices dripped from her pussy, and as he lapped it up, he couldn’t get enough. She tasted delicious. His cock was so hard it was almost painful to have it confined in his pants it was begging to come out and play. He felt dangerously close to spilling his load. When she came, and called out his name, he couldn’t wait any longer.

He quickly shucked off his shirt and pants, and after spreading her legs wide, he pushed his cock in with one long, hard thrust. Oh, my God, she felt amazing. He knew this would be over too soon. Matt pumped into her forcefully, taking want he wanted. With one last hard thrust, he yelled as he emptied himself into her tight channel.

As he caught his breath, Matt looked into her glazed, lust-filled eyes. She was even more beautiful with her messed up hair and swollen lips. He watched her chest heave as he took in her hard nipples and his semi-soft cock hardened once again.

Matt withdrew from her body and flipped her over. There was something manly and primitive about taking her from behind. He grabbed her hair once again, tugging at it until she tilted her head back. He loved being in control. As he bent over to kiss the side of her exposed neck, he surged hard inside of her, demanding with his body that she take him and take everything he gave her. He fucked her over and over, until they were both unable to move anymore, until they were both sated, and they fell asleep with his semi-soft cock still inside her.

Matt woke during the night with his arms around Megan, spooning her. He felt his cock harden again, and with a small thrust, he found himself deeply embedded inside her. He slowly started moving his hips. Megan moaned as she pushed back against him with her bottom, demanding he give her more. As Matt gave her what her body demanded, he reached around and found her sensitive nub. His thrust grew in strength as his finger pressed down on her small bundle of nerves, causing her to scream out his name. As he grabbed her shoulders, he pounded into her, using her shoulders to his advantage so he could thrust harder, deeper, more forcefully. He came hard and fast, spilling his seed once again.

Lying in bed, still spooning her, he whispered, “Oh God, Megan that felt great.” She wiggled her hips and he groaned.

“Yeah, it did. I’m going to be sore tomorrow… well, today.” It was 4 am.

“I won’t say that I’m sorry.” She laughed, and that made him chuckle as well.

“I’m sure you won’t.” She turned to face him. Her hand traced the tattoos that ran up his left arm to his shoulder, and covered his upper back. “I like these,” she said as she continued to trace the lines. It felt good to have her hands on him.

As they lay there in bed,
a thought made its way to the surface, making him tremble. “Oh shit, Megan. I forgot to use protection.” He tilted her head with his hand so he could look at her. It’s not that he didn’t want to have kids; he just wanted to be married first.

“I didn’t think of it either, but I’m on the pill. So, it’s okay as long as you’re clean.”

Relief was evident on his face, and then a smile graced his full lips when he replied, “I am.”

“Good.” She tilted her head back more and pecked his lips.

Megan traced the tattoo that crawled up his arm and landed on his shoulder and upper back. His body was muscled without any trace of fat. Lean and cut, that was the only way to describe Matt. From his arms and chest, to his hard abs and huge thighs, Matt was something to behold.

They’d just had sex, the best sex of her life, and as she lay here with him, she wanted it to last forever. Never had she felt so close to someone, not even her ex-husband James. She knew she would be sore tomorrow. Matt’s cock was long and thick, larger than any she had seen before. As they laid there with him spooning her, Megan felt content… happy.

The next morning, after a few more rounds in bed, Megan was up fixing breakfast. Standing at the stove in just a T-shirt and a pair of panties, she didn’t hear Matt walk up until she felt his lips caress the side of her neck. “Good morning,” he whispered softly.

Megan turned her head and gave him a happy smile, “Morning.”

“That smells delicious.” He peered into the skillet and looked at the omelets that were almost finished cooking.

After having breakfast, Megan made some coffee. Sitting on the front porch together watching the cars pass, she thought about how nice this was…being here…with him beside her. She didn’t want him to leave today, but knew there wasn’t anything she could do about it. He lived in New York, and she lived here. She was so busy thinking, she almost missed his words. “I wish I didn’t have to leave.” Megan looked over at him as he sat watching the road.
